Our Story
Born From a Passion
for Beautiful Spaces
Equinox Atelier was founded by principal designer Tonney Lim on a single conviction: that every home, regardless of size or budget, deserves to be designed with the same care, intention, and artistry as the world’s finest residences.
Since 2013, that belief has shaped our work across Singapore, from compact public housing apartments to private condominiums and commercial interiors. We remain a lean practice by choice, taking on a considered number of projects so each one receives the full attention of our principal designer. Our ambition is to bring the same rigour to landed homes and waterfront residences, building a body of work defined not by volume, but by the quality of every space we shape.
Our Journey
A Decade of Excellence
2013
The Beginning
Equinox Atelier founded by Isabelle Tan in a Keong Saik shophouse with a team of three.
2015
First Major Award
Recognised at the Singapore Interior Design Awards for Best Residential Project under 1,000 sqft.
2017
Studio Expansion
Moved to our current studio at Claymore Hill and expanded the team to 18 designers and project managers.
2019
Commercial Division
Launched our commercial design arm, taking on hospitality and retail projects across Southeast Asia.
2021
100th Luxury Project
Completed our 100th luxury residential project — a 12,000 sqft penthouse at Marina One Residences.
2024
Regional Recognition
Named among Asia’s Top 25 Interior Design Studios by Architectural Digest Asia.
